Project Manager

We are searching for a professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading a variety of exciting and fast pacedgovernment construction projectsin the NYC (5 Boroughs) SH5 Construction Corp. is a General Contracting & Construction Management Firm. Our majority of the work is with City & State Agencies. Our projects include the building and management of all aspects of the project from start to completion. Project Managers are expected to lead the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects through all phases of a project including, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, value engineering, construction administration, coordinating with subs, and closeouts. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional initiative and communication skills. If you excel in your role as a PM at SH5 Construction Corp, you will have the opportunity to grow and take on positions of greater responsibility. The CPM/PM will be working with and reporting to either a Project Executive or President, for guidance. Project Engineer/Manager will be able to successfully complete tasks related to the following: • Project Planning • In-Depth knowledge of Contract Drawings & specification, RFI, Change Orders, Buyouts, Closeouts, Submittals, Schedule updates • Leading staff/subcontractor meetings • Coordinate Inspections • Review, Monitor, & implement schedules for all trades • Documentation Acceptable experience includes any combination of the following: PUBLIC CONTRACTS • Civil Engineering • Architecture • Construction Project Management EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education, and experience in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field to the Construction Industry.) COMPUTER SKILLS:Required • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • MS Power Point • MS Project • Adobe Acrobat (or Blue Beam, Nitro pdf, and other pdf developers / editors) Physical Job Demands Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, files, and performs specialized skills. Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy office, flexibility and an ability to thrive in an open work environment.
