Project Manager

With 500+ STR renovations under our belt, we know what works, and we bring that knowledge to every project. The Role We’re looking for a Project Manager who knows how to bring big visions to life! And do so: on budget, on time, and with excellence. You’ll be managing renovations (mostly remote, occasionally with boots on the ground) from start to finish, quarterbacking communication between clients, subs, and our internal teams. This role is for someone who thrives in organized chaos, loves being the go-to person for answers, and doesn’t mind jumping into a project halfway through if needed. You’ll work closely with a dedicated Project Coordinator, our in-house design and permitting teams, and vetted subs to deliver spaces that are both stunning and STR-smart. What You’ll Do • Own the day-to-day renovation process under the guidance of the Director of Construction • Manage multiple STR projects (10+ at a time) and ensure they’re moving forward with clarity, speed, and top-tier craftsmanship • Be the primary point of contact for clients to: set expectations, provide updates, and make the process feel seamless and stress-free • Coordinate with design, permitting, and construction teams to ensure every project hits key milestones • Review estimates, budgets, and timelines, keeping all three in check • Supervise subcontractors and troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally (some weekend or evening communication will be needed) • Willingness to visit project sites 1–3x per week, if local, to confirm progress, inspect work, and spot-check for quality • Document everything, from change orders to closeout checklists, with meticulous detail • Get comfortable with live video walkthroughs, Slack updates, and quick decision-making You Might Be a Fit If You: • Have proven experience managing renovation or construction projects (STR or residential preferred) • Are obsessed with systems, timelines, and spreadsheets, and have the receipts to prove it • Love being client-facing and pride yourself on being responsive and proactive • Know your way around Google Sheets and remote collaboration tools • Are comfortable jumping into projects midstream and making sense of the chaos • Can juggle multiple renovations without dropping a ball • Live near one of our key markets, like San Antonio, Texas or are open to periodic travel for site visits Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience in the short-term rental or hospitality space • Working knowledge of permitting, local codes, and construction methods • A solid background managing vendor relationships and subcontractor teams • Proficiency in project management platforms (e.g. Buildertrend, Asana, Jira, etc.) • A calm, clear communication style, even when a project hits a snag Total Compensation:The total compensation range for this role is the one that's displayed. It includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, performance bonuses and more.
