Project Manager/Estimator

S. David LLC, a premier commercial and industrial painting company based in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring top-tier results for our diverse clientele nationwide. Applicants be able to manage multiple project files/tasks including, but not limited to, contracts, change orders, submittals, lien releases and warranties. Must be a critical thinker and go getter with proven ability to implement processes and procedures regarding project set up, bid documents, billing and project management. Required Skills: - Estimating - Self- starter - Firm understanding of construction documents - Computer literate - Process oriented - Organized - Dependable Responsibilities: - Estimate and manage bids and projects - Communicate with GC when bids are selected to estimate - Deliver bids on time - Let project admin know what projects you are bidding and prices - Utilize On Center estimating software - Participate in bid review prior to submitting proposal - Write or provide all support documents, i.e. submittals, change orders, request for payment, job sheets and warranties necessary for project completion - Coordinate preconstruction meeting - Prepare foreman’s information packet - Provide information to Production Department on contract completion and manpower requirements - Provide sufficient information to foremen that allows for timely completion of a quality job - Order and/or oversee all materials and equipment supplied for designated jobs - Provide production team with sufficient lead time to procure/allocate specialized equipment - Resolve problems/potential problems with General Contractor, project manager or superintendent - Develop and maintain relationships with current/ potential clients - Maintain continuous dialogue with suppliers of material and equipment for servicing and pricing - Provide project progress information.
