Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves working on various construction sites, assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures. The Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities- Managing Subs to perform the following - • Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up forms for concrete pouring. • Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications and project requirements. • Operate various tools and equipment safely, including mixers, trowels, and saws. • Perform quality control checks to ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site. Requirements • Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. • Familiarity with construction management software such as Prolog, ProCore, or HeavyBid is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and understand construction estimating processes. • Knowledge of quality control practices related to concrete work. • Experience with pipeline installation is an advantage but not required. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed. • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration on-site. • Commitment to safety practices while working in potentially hazardous environments. • Travel to job locations within the DFW Metroplex.
