Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join our team! The Project Superintendent is the leader of the jobsite, bringing together all trades as required, working together towards a common goal of completing a quality project built in accordance with plans and specifications, completed on time, safely, and within budget.

Qualifications and Experience
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience as the Superintendent in charge of commercial construction projects.
β’ Ground-up construction experience.
β’ Strong communication skills and the ability to work with and lead teams effectively.
β’ Demonstrated ability in managing construction operations with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
β’ Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling, quality control, cost control, plan and spec reading, and documentation.
β’ Familiarity with construction management software.
β’ Experience with construction projects of similar type to Brookstoneβs portfolio is preferred.
β’ Geographically located in the Greater Houston area.
Duties
β’ Supervise and coordinate operations on the construction site.
β’ Enforce safety policies and promote a safe work culture.
β’ Maintain project production and project schedule compliance. Draft and administer look-ahead schedules and participate in the creating and updating of the master schedule.
β’ Conduct and document weekly foreman meetings.
β’ Conduct and document pre-installation meetings with subcontractors.
β’ Maintain compliance of work with the contract, plans, and specifications.
β’ Perform quality control and maintain quality standards.
β’ Monitor and manage labor and materials.
β’ Monitor and maintain subcontractor performance. Enforce subcontract obligations and schedule commitments. Communicate frequently and effectively with the subcontractors.
β’ Document changes, keep plans up to date, and maintain record drawings.
β’ Maintain accurate and timely completion of field paperwork and documentation.
β’ Maintain proper care of company equipment.
β’ Maintain a clean and presentable project office and job site.
β’ Maintain storm water pollution control.
β’ Aid the Project Manager in review of certain shop drawings, submittals, changes, pay applications, invoices, etc.
β’ Keep punch lists minimal and complete punch lists timely.
β’ Correct inspection or observation deficiencies, document and respond to the appropriate parties.
β’ Participate in the management and resolution of warranty items.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
