The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazon’s scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable.
The WWS IMPACT team is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the development of Amazon’s 2025 Sustainability Report. The person in this role will flex into various project needs at critical milestones, providing support across the project for both report development and project management workstreams. They will lead executive scheduling on behalf of the project team, ensuring we maintain timelines of this complex, cross-company project. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, highly detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
Candidates based in Seattle, San Francisco, Arlington, VA, or New York, are preferred, but remote candidates will also be considered. This full-time (40 hours/week), with the potential for extension.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Support Project Management workstreams including tool/processes creation and management, communications, stakeholder list management, task tracking, timeline management, etc.
• Support Sustainability Report development workstreams including disclosure evaluation, data tracking, copywriting, copyediting, design, etc.
• Manage calendar and scheduling requests with dozens of internal stakeholders on behalf of the project team, including maintaining scheduling trackers and calendar documentation
• Proactively coordinate with leadership offices to coordinate scheduling requirements for executive-level meetings and reviews
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in sustainability, business, communications, or related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, communications, or related practices (internship experience also valued)
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver in ambiguity, and operate in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluency in tech-driven productivity and collaboration software applications and tools, with an ability to quickly learn new applications and tools
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in sustainability reporting
• Experience in managing large global projects
• Experience working with team members in various cross-functional roles and geographies
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Quip and Asana
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Seattle
Pay Range: $38 -$ 42 per hour
