Proofreading Language Specialist - Finnish

Homify is in full expansion and opens to 13 new markets. We’re now looking for Freelance Proofreading Language Specialists [m/f/d] to review and correct articles initially translated using machine translation. Here what you’ll be required to do:

• You’ll correct and ensure linguistic accuracy and coherence of short articles initially translated using machine translation
• You’ll maintain high-quality standards by identifying and rectifying grammatical errors, syntax issues, and language inconsistencies in translated content
• You’ll work closely with our content team to provide constructive feedback, and clarify language ambiguities
• You’ll include cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to ensure the translated content resonates with our target audience

• You don’t have to be a professional translator, but you have to be proficient in the target language with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances
• You have an exceptional eye for detail, spotting errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• You have an affinity for architecture, interior design and decoration
• You demonstrate effective time management skills to meet monthly proofreading targets
• You have a self-starter attitude and an ability to work with minimal guidance
• You’re a good communicator
