Property Accountant

Summary We are seeking a Property Accountant to join our team at Ardenbrook. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial records for our properties and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your contributions will support our mission to provide exceptional property management services. Responsibilities • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for property management. • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records. • Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies. • Conduct account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis. • Support the senior accountants with various financial management tasks. • Utilize accounting software (such as QuickBooks) for data entry and reporting. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP. • Experience with bank reconciliation and account reconciliation processes. • Proficient in financial management practices. • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
