Property Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-driven and highly motivatedProperty Accountantwith strong experience inYardito support our growing real estate operations. This position plays a vital role in managing the financial health of a portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, billing, and reconciliation across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries inYardi(required) • Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and general ledger accounts monthly • Process tenant billings, CAM reconciliations, and property-level expenses • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly financial reporting and property performance summaries • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis • Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies • Maintain up-to-date records for leases, rent rolls, and tenant ledgers • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process • Recommend and help implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications: • 2-4 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance required • Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting principles • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data sorting/filtering) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously • Clear and professional communication skills • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) How to Apply: Think you're a good fit?
