Proposal and Design Specialist

RH Strategic is seeking aProposal & Design Specialistto join our growing design and proposal development teams. This unique role combines creative design with production expertise, supporting the development of polished proposal submissions as well as compelling digital content. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of design, storytelling (including writing), and strategic communication, and is adept at navigating the formal structure of RFP responses and the creative flexibility of branding and digital campaigns. This is a full-time position based in Seattle, with an in-office presence required at least three days per week. RH Strategic is a well-established public relations agency with a robust client portfolio across technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, sustainability, and education industries. Proposal Production Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients and the internal team to ensure submission readiness • Format and assemble complex proposal documents in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word • Apply consistent formatting, layout, and version control across all proposal deliverables • Maintain and evolve proposal templates, boilerplate materials, and content libraries • Ensure deliverables are compliant with RFP specifications and meet all required guidelines • Manage workload to meet deadlines of multiple proposals during the busy season • Organize and archive past proposal materials for reuse and reference Design Responsibilities • Design client and firm deliverables (external and internal), including brand assets, social graphics, presentations, digital ads, infographics, microsites, toolkits, templates and one-pagers • Collaborate with clients and team to visualize complex ideas clearly and persuasively • Ensure consistency in brand identity across multiple platforms and file formats, adapt tone and style for different industries and audiences • Stay up to date on design trends, platform specifications, and digital content innovations Requirements • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or proposal production, preferably in an agency or B2B environment • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign • Demonstrated experience formatting complex documents such as proposals, white papers and capability documents • Familiarity with proposal workflows and content compliance standards • Strong portfolio showcasing layout precision, brand design, and content visualization • Advanced formatting skills in PowerPoint, especially for visual storytelling and formatting (not just inserting screenshots) • Impeccable attention to detail in design layout, typography and written content Pay and Benefits Salary: $75,000-$90,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. The Company may, in its discretion, also offer an annual bonus in an amount, if any, to be determined by the Company. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
