Provider Relations Administrator

Reports to: Vice President, Customer Service
Work Location: Austin, Texas
Texas Legal is a nonprofit 501(c)6 legal insurance program founded in 1972 by the State Bar of Texas and the Texas State Legislature in an effort to better meet the legal needs of Texans. Members pay premiums into the program and are eligible to seek legal services from a network of Participating Attorneys at virtually no cost to them.
Job Summary
Texas Legal is presently seeking a Provider Relations Administrator to assist with administrative duties related to our Attorney network. This position operates under the supervision of the Vice President of Customer Service to assist Texas Legal Participating Attorneys with the execution of the Texas Legal program.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Provides prompt customer service and support to attorneys, their staff, and internal departments regarding enrollment, claims, or plan questions via different communication methods.
β’ Process, track, and maintain addition and removal of attorneys from panel
β’ Utilize company database to document attorney correspondence and follow up on issues as needed
β’ Prepare marketing material, prize(s), and swag for upcoming attorney fairs, attorney visits, etc.
β’ Assist in enrolling new attorneys
β’ Monthly maintenance for KO notifications
β’ Monthly maintenance for open authorizations; Terminated policies, Non payment, Terminated Attorneys, Aged out dependents, etc.
β’ Professionally correspond with law offices to educate and answer questions, request documents, and to establish working relationships with attorneys and their staff
β’ Update Texas Legal website and provider portal with changes to attorney information
β’ Develop a solid understanding of fee schedule, benefits, and legal terminology relating to Texas Legalβs plans, policies, and provider reimbursement
β’ Administrative duties to include copying, mailing, ordering supplies, and assembling attorney welcome kits and tenure awards.
β’ Assist in credentialing panel attorneys and annual attorney confirmation process
β’ Other duties as assigned
β’ Qualifications and Skills
β’ Exceptional customer service skills
β’ Solid verbal and written communication skills
β’ Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Outlook, and Excel
β’ Self-starter skilled in critical thinking as well as independent problem-solving
β’ Effectively able to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
β’ Collaborative team player with the ability to establish positive and cooperative working relationships
β’ Prior experience in the legal industry, insurance, or employee benefits a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $43,680.00 per year
