Job Description

MakingCosmetics is seeking a creative, dynamic and motivated part time marketing professional who thrives with executing marketing strategies through website and social media management. They will have demonstrated experience driving sales results through their marketing, promotions, and social media platform/programs. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30 pm with a paid 30 minute lunch and employees are paid on a monthly basis. This part time position would be in the office with a schedule of 2 to 3 days per week. Job Duties: · Work with key stakeholders to coordinate content updates to the MakingCosmetics website using the content management system; develop easy-to-use, clear, concise, comprehensible content. · Create compelling designs for various marketing materials including newsletter, catalogs, brochures, ads, videos, various business needs as required · Design content for the company’s social media accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest) to increase presence and monitor company’s online reputation. · Manage the company’s paid ad platforms · Comply with regulations and standards and protect the organization’s public reputation. · Assisting with descriptions, videos, banners, promotions in sales channels such as Amazon and Etsy. Additional Tasks & Responsibilities: · Experience and knowledge in blogs and social media/content marketing/newsletters · Experience in paid ad social media platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok · Experience working with the e-commerce platform Salesforce Commerce Cloud and the customer loyalty program Yotpo is a big plus · Basic HTML and CSS knowledge · Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with proven photo editing and other designing skills · Strong ability to do effective research on a variety of topics Minimum Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience across major social media platforms, or an equivalent combination of education and experience · Dependable & Reliable · Proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills. · Positive attitude, ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail · Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Paid time off • Referral program Work Location: In person
