About the Role

Eagle Bend Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 Automobile Manufacturer, we are seeking an experience Purchasing Supplier Development to establish and maintain supplier development standards for all suppliers. Quote service pricing for past-life service to customers and obtain their approval with updated Purchase Orders

Your Responsibilities

• Interface with Eagle Bend Suppliers and Purchasing department
• Perform 2nd party audits on new Suppliers as required to qualify as approved supplier
• Perform 2nd party audits for supplier development to evaluate compliance to standard
• Issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR's) for non-conformances to standards
• Apply and comply with AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group), EBM standards and procedures, as well as customer-specific requirements
• Perform audits of supplier corrective actions implemented for effectiveness
• Serve as an internal auditor for Materials Department
• Prepare & maintain quotes for all service jobs as required

Who we are looking for

• Ability to mathematically compute costs and profit
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Problem solving skills
• Basic CMS system skills
• Ability to access data stored on LAN (local area network)
• Ability to performed in organized and timely manner

Your preferred qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing, fabricating and packaging processes
• VDA Auditor Card required
• Prior Materials or Logistics experience (3-5 years) preferred
