Sutherland Global Services is seeking Python Architect who will be responsible for implementing backend logic and working closely with database developer.

Job Description

Overall Job Function:

• Designs technical architecture for assigned processes (45%).
• Leads business analyses and manages small projects (20%).
• Performs software engineering and administration tasks (20%).
• Testing & Validation (5%).
• Stays current with applicable technologies, attends conferences, and participates in training as required (5%).
• Performs other duties as required (5%).

Experience Requirements:

• Superior experience with and knowledge of Python, Flask, and other Python platforms. 12+ years relevant experience
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Working knowledge of php.
• Working knowledge of React/JS. 
• Ten or more years of relevant software development experience.
• Five or more years using data interchange methods, including XML, JSON, RESTful, and SOAP.
• Four or more years of experience developing software that interacts with relational databases.
• Two or more years of experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile development.
• Two or more years of business and systems analysis experience.
• Two or more years of software quality assurance and validation experience.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to effectively deliver results as required.
• Ability to effectively operate in a team.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to operate independently under pressure.
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision and within changing priorities.
• Ability to analyze requirements and troubleshoot problems.
• Strong business acumen and deep understanding of business processes
• Strong presentation, and conflict management skills
• Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of functional team members.
• Ability to work in a matrix team environment with both internal and 3rd party development teams (onshore / offshore).
• Hybrid Work Model 
• Working Time: India 2nd Shift till 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
