Python Developer, Data Engineer

We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered both in Miami and Tel-Aviv, we’re now building our team in NYC. Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

This position is a FT Contract and is a REMOTE position, and therefore we are open to candidates based anywhere throughout Europe!

What You'll Do:

• Work with the BI team to help with Sauce's digital transformation, to become a fully data-driven company
• Improve and optimize Sauce's DWH to be more structured and fully documented
• Transform Sauce's stage/raw layer processing code, define input schemas, and add data quality tests
• Resolve data dependencies with Airflow v2, define dag structure and dag templates
• Develop tech reports in Databricks about data consistency and pipeline performance
• Help business stakeholders build dashboards and analyze our data

Who You Are:

• 3+ years experience building data pipelines, data infrastructures, data quality pipelines, and alerting pipelines
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow)
• Hands-on experience with data profiling and data quality methods, based on Python libs (pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn)
• Proficient in SQL, Python - this is a must
• Ideal but not required:
• Experience with data quality and data prediction (like prophet lib)
• Experience with Databricks, Airflow2
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), DevOps practices
