This person will be motivated to mitigate risk and passionate about testing software to ensure the quality of our upcoming releases. You will thrive at CertifID if you have a natural flair for problem-solving, can balance priorities, enjoy collaborative efforts, and are excited about testing and scaling a disruptive SaaS product.

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of the code quality through exploratory and automated testing for multiple software releases

- Manage the creation, updates, and status of issues detected during test execution phases

- Manage retesting, updates, and status of issues reported by our Engineering, Product, Sales, and CS teams

- Perform problem-solving and root-cause analysis and support corrective actions with detailed bug reports

- Troubleshoot issues to explain the root cause and report back with detailed bug reports

- Participate in daily standup calls with remote teams to support issues, triage process and understand prioritization of work assignments

- Ownership of QA documentation including but not limited to; test cases, test plans, and post release retrospectives

What you need:

- Although not a strict requirement, candidates for this role will typically have 4+ years of relevant work experience

- Quality Assurance management tool experience required

- Experience in building test plans, performance testing and knowledge of QA testing best practices

- Commitment to execution with high standards, with an understanding of business impact

- Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills

- Knowledge of technologies such as Selenium, MongoDB, Postman, Github, Jira is a plus

- Proven track record of success in assuring high quality products are shipped on time in a fast-paced environment 

- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across various levels; must be able to diplomatically persuade others and effectively

drive change

Starting salary:

$82,000 - $145,000. At CertifID, we believe in equitable and transparent compensation practices. While we provide a salary range for each open position, it's important to understand that starting offers are based on a variety of factors, including your relevant experience, specific skills, and the location of the position. This ensures that we can offer competitive compensation tailored to your individual profile. Please know that while starting offers typically land within the salary range, they may not always reach the top end.
