QA MANAGER

K5 Factory as part of the K5 Media Group based in Munich has specialized in developing immersive experiences since its foundation combines state-of-the-art technologies in AR, VR, and real-time rendering to produce games, metaverse, and other immersive experiences.

Your Role

We are seeking a Senior VR-Games QA Manager to join our highly motivated team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about VR gaming and QA. We primarily look for someone who is experienced with QA and VR Games and has a willingness to adopt new technologies, contributing to our innovative and high-quality gaming solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• In charge of creation of test plans and test cases, utilizing available documentation and guidance of a QA intern.
• Analyzing test requirements to identify potential ambiguities and defects to gain insights into early bug prevention techniques.
• Identifying, categorizing, and reporting bugs during the execution of test plans.
• Participating in regular reporting of test progress and results, knowing how to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Contributing to risk assessment after test completion with the support of a QA intern.
• Making release recommendations.
• Familiar with JIRA system for adding findings, and understand the process of prioritization in collaboration with the Lead Game Designer

What you need to succeed

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Manager in Gaming, preferably VR Gaming.
• You are a passionate gamer and know the VR gaming scene by heart.
• You have solid technical knowledge, and are enthusiastic about QA.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
• You work in a self-organized, structured manner and also outside predefined solution paths.
• You set priorities correctly and find it easy to structure your workday.
• You analyze your tasks and quickly recognize inconsistencies and problems.
• You are fluent in English and preferably also speak German.
• Solid knowledge in a scripting or programming language as well as in the use of databases.
