$110,000-$150,000 Base Salary, Position eligible for additional incentives including bonus, 401k match, health and welfare benefits.

National Funding (NF) is creating a new, state-of-the-art digital lending company, smallbusinessloans.com (SBL). SBL will launch fully digital lending offering targeted to SMBs seeking an automated loan experience. The company will differentiate itself from competitors via superior technology, risk management, data science, a fully digital UI, and a customer-first experience that emphasizes ease of use, fairness and transparency in pricing, and recognition of customer loyalty.

In order to maximize speed-to-market and efficiency, SBL intends to leverage the availability state-of-the art technology service providers and platforms. At the same time, SBL will build a robust set of modules around these platforms that will serve to differentiate SBL’s offerings in the marketplace and to its customers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
  o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA professionals specializing in automation and regression testing.
  o Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the QA department.
  o Build a team of strong QA professionals.
  o Oversee testing activities and ensure team is executing at desired level.
  o Provide immediate quality feedback to Software Engineers and Salesforce Admins and work with them to improve the product.
• Automation Strategy and Planning:
  o Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy, emphasizing the importance of test automation in the software development lifecycle.
  o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for test automation and define criteria for automated test coverage.
  o Work with Salesforce Admins, Product Managers, Software Engineers to start up automated Salesforce and web app testing
  
• Tool Selection and Implementation:
  o Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and frameworks suitable for the organization's needs.
  o Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation.
  
•  Test Automation Development:
  o Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
  o Ensure the scalability and reusability of automation scripts for different projects.
  
• Regression Testing Management:
  o Establish and oversee regression testing processes to detect and prevent software regressions.
  o Define and maintain regression test suites, ensuring they align with project requirements.
  
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing:
  o Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  o Implement and enhance continuous testing practices to achieve early defect detection.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams:
  o Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development process.
  o Provide feedback to developers on code quality and identify areas for improvement.
  o Work with a variety of teams (engineering, design, product management, project management, and customer experience) to design, own, and deliver on test plans for new features and functionality.
  
• Metrics and Reporting:
  o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for automation and regression testing.
  o Generate reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness of automated testing efforts.
  
• Training and Knowledge Sharing:
  o Conduct training sessions for QA team members on test automation best practices and tools.
  o Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the QA department.
  • Become the voice of Quality for the product you work on.
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
  • 5 years experience/exposure to automatization of web services, including transport (primarily HTTP), common data formats (JSON), and standard API patterns (e.g. REST).
  • Previous experience/exposure to manual QA testing for APIs, SaaS apps and/or CRM platforms
  • Previous experience/exposure to Postman, Cypress, or similar tools/frameworks
  • Passionate about automation, but willing to learn and contribute value via manual testing
  • A superior communicator and curious with an affinity for testing beyond the “happy path”
