QA Software Engineer, Technical Support

About the Job: 

We are seeking a QA Software Engineer to join our Technical Customer Success team in Boston, MA. This role will be supporting customers utilizing our suite of Quality Assurance tools. Your responsibilities include efficiently handling support requests, offering technical assistance through email and virtual meetings, as well as identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to our QA Tools. 

You will:

• Process support requests from prospects and customers who are developers using our QA tools 
• Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to QA tools 
• Develop and provide solutions for bugs found by customers

About You: 

• Strong scripting language experience such as Python, JavaScript, Perl, or others
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab or other version control systems
• Experience with shell scripts (Bash or others) and Unix command line.
• Experience with batch scripts (".bat" files) and Windows command (including PowerShell) line.
• Experience with automated GUI testing (via Squish, QTP, QC, AutoHotkey, or others).
• Have contributed to any public open-source software project.
• Programming skills in C++ and experience in JavaScript are an advantage
• Highly organized and solutions-oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
