QA Test Lead

Introduction
As a Lead Test Specialist at IBM your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create. Whether the testing is manual automated or cognitive you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to IBM’ers and our clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Test Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive test strategy and plan to ensure the quality and reliability of the CRM solution.
Team Management: Manage and lead the QA team including assigning tasks setting priorities and providing guidance and support.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the QA process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Defect Management: Oversee the defect tracking and resolution process ensuring timely and effective communication with development teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress issues and resolutions and ensure alignment with project goals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required skills:
• Knowledge of web technologies including java JavaScript OpenAPI React.
• Knowledge of test automation and associated test tooling e.g. Cucumber Jenkins & Puppeteer.
• Knowledge of the project lifecycle in software delivery.
• Understanding of testing process techniques and their application.
• An aptitude for understanding the more technical elements of a system and the environments how the systems interface and connect.
• Attention to detail.

Desired skills:
• Testing background with experience in interface/connectivity testing.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and associated business processes.
• Experience of Atlassian tools; Confluence JIRA XRAY
Oracle HCM and/or Oracle ERP knowledge.
• Experience of Integration testing.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
• Ability to thrive in an ever changing technology based Consulting environment using agile.
