Miku, Inc. is a tech company empowering people to live better through higher awareness. Our flagship product, the Miku Smart Baby Monitor, captures and analyzes breathing, sound, and sleep patterns in real time with no wires or wearables, using proprietary SensorFusion technology. With a Miku monitor, stream HD video and audio, track temperature and humidity levels, play custom MikuMusic sleep sounds and lullabies, and receive sleep reports and expert health tips through the Android and iOS-compatible app. A local processor, crypto chip technology, and custom dual Ole Wolff speakers are just some of the unique features packed in our Miku monitor.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be involved with the testing of the Miku end-to-end solution. This entails the ongoing design, execution, and regression of mobile (iOS and Android), website, and firmware features. You will be responsible for documenting your results, troubleshooting issues, and actively participating in related meetings.
The Quality Assurance Engineer interfaces with the engineering and software development teams to clearly communicate issues, identify root causes of non-conforming issues, writing detailed and informative bug reports with clear steps to reproduce.
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively as it is required to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be a technical point of contact to the customer support team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create clear, comprehensive, and detailed test plans and test cases
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated scripts primarily for functional and regression testing
• Coordinate with internal teams (i.e. engineering, development, support) to identify root causes and corrective action for issues
• Create detailed, informative issue reports
• Participate in continuous integration and release management
• Establish and manage requirements traceability for test cases
REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
• Knowledge of QA best practices and processes
• Mobile (Android and iOS) and website testing experience
• Experience with JIRA or equivalent issue tracking software
• Experience with Agile/scrum development process
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
