SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Associate I will perform QC analysis and document activities according to SOPs following good manufacturing processes (GMP).  This individual will also demonstrate the ability to learn QC methods, procedures and systems.  

PRINICIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports projects / initiatives / team goals by delivering on all assigned tasks
  • Analyzes issues and makes decisions based on standardized processes and procedures under direct supervision
  • Seeks opportunities for continual learning
  • Receives close and regular instruction, guidance and direction from others in the form of steps and tasks
  • Perform general QC testing such as pH, Osmolality, Protein Concentration
  • Participate with test method transfers, qualifications and validations
  • Assist in drafting technical documents including test methods, validation documents, and deviations
  • Assist with the generation of SOPs related to test methods and product release
  • Perform data verification and data entry
  • This position supports a 24/7 team; we have 3 open roles that will be assigned to night shift, with flexibility on shift schedule.  More details will be provided to interviewing candidates. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good understanding of basic scientific concepts.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Clear, concise writing skills.
  • Ability to interact well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • BS/BA degree

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$23.31 - $32.05; plus 15% night differential 

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Benefits available to Team Members include subsidized insurance for the Team Member and designated dependents (medical, vision, dental, life and disability), eligibility to participate in the AGC Biologics 401(k) plan (including a generous matching contribution from the company and immediate vesting), vacation, sick time, and parental leave.

Team Members are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus commensurate to the level of the role. The payout is based on both the company’s performance and the Team Member’s performance.
