Quality Control Engineer Role Summary:
Join our team as a Quality Control Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our HVDC Power Transformer PDG. You'll lead the organization and technical support of our Quality inspection team, conduct competency validations, and oversee quality control validations across various production stages. Your role will involve meticulous measurement device calibration, spot checks, and compliance audits to uphold stringent quality standards. Additionally, you'll drive continual improvement in product compliance through process refinement and enhancement, while also managing internal quality record administration and providing valuable insights through "End of Manufacturing" Reports.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Team Support: Organize and provide technical support to the Quality inspection team, ensuring their effectiveness in maintaining quality standards.
- Competency Validation: Conduct Operator and Quality inspector competency validation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Control Validation: Ensure all internal quality control validations are clearly defined and followed, including Design gate stage sign-off, Incoming Goods inspection, and in-manufacture Quality checks.
- Measurement Device Calibration: Oversee measurement device calibration governance to maintain accuracy.
- Spot Checks and Compliance Audits: Perform spot checks at workstations and support workshop assessments, including compliance audits covering Industrial Rules and Quality control documented requirements.
- Governance Meetings: Lead QR1 and QR2 meeting governance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Process Improvement: Continuously develop quality control processes, including Design processes, Incoming Goods, and Manufacturing Control Plans, to drive improvement in product compliance and defect identification.
- Record Administration: Manage internal design and Manufacturing quality record administration and storage.
- Reporting: Review and consolidate End Of Manufacturing Reports for the engineering and manufacturing portion.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Transformer Expertise: Desirable in-depth knowledge of transformer design and manufacture.
- Quality Control Skills: Expertise in Quality Control techniques.
- Auditor Certification: Internal auditor qualification.
