Quality Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quality Engineer at Ford is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet established quality standards. They will work closely with production, design, and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement continuous improvements, and ensure customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures to ensure compliance with Ford's regulations and standards.
• Analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to evaluate compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Provide technical support and training on quality issues to other departments.
• Investigate and resolve quality problems reported by customers and propose effective solutions.
• Work with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet quality requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Advance english
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and SPC.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations applicable to the automotive industry.
