Quality Engineer

DESCRIPTION

At our Guadalajara site in Spain, ACCELERA by Cummins is developing innovative Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions - contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations!

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer WITH experience in mechanical supervision of Welding process to join our team. If you're passionate about quality, process improvement, and have an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

She/He will create value for their assigned site by leading continuous improvement projects towards defect-free processes that satisfy customer needs and achieve business results.

Work model: 100% onsite Guadalajara , Spain. Permanent contract. English high level required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks:

• As a Quality Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our quality processes. Your role involves managing non-conformities, analyzing data, and implementing continuous improvements. You'll be a key player in our product development, ensuring our quality standards are met.
• Manage quality processes and follow up on non-conformities.
• Drive continuous improvement, analyzing existing processes with data insights.
• Work with Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Create and optimize processes with a structured approach.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your profile:

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is required).

• Experience in quality engineering, preferably in Oil & gas/Automotive industry or machine building industries.

• Technical drawing and production process understanding. Ideally Welding process development and deployment.

• Strong cross-functional and cross-departmental thinking.

• ISO 9001/14001/45001 basic knowledge and PED certification active participation ideally.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate or willingness to obtain.

• Perfect knowledge of English is a must .
