What we are looking for:
We are hiring a Quality Engineer II to contribute to our rapid product development pace.  Our Quality Engineers work collaboratively within our Product Development teams to set the technical direction for our SaaS products, develop easy-to-use solutions for our customers and ensure the delivery of high quality, maintainable and observable software.

Your Impact:
  • Design quality into the development process by engaging the entire product development team in the delivery of quality software
  • Conduct and/or guide exploratory software testing to identify areas of improvement for our web-based applications
  • Test new product features as part of our user story-driven, Agile/Scrum software development process
  • Collaborate closely with software developers to resolve issues discovered during testing
  • Guide the team developing and contribute automated tests 
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure preparedness for each software release
  • Assist in backlog grooming for upcoming development sprints
  • Encourage and advocate team ownership of software quality

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical coursework and practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in quality engineering
  • Experience in writing automated tests using Capybara/Selenium or other automation frameworks
  • An understanding of best practices in balancing automation and exploratory testing
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience using SQL
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices
  • Analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience in developing and executing exploratory tests
  • A risk-aware mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality product to customers
  • A commitment to quality, and an enthusiasm for engaging with customers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with development teams and product owners
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum software development process in a SaaS environment

Nice to have:
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related fields.  
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with AI and LLMs
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $85,600-$107,000
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc. 

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
