Quality Engineer - UAT

In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

• Understand and analyze business requirements and technical specifications.

• Identify automation opportunities within the testing process.

• Create or update test plans and test cases (manual and automated).

• Design and develop scalable reusable and maintainable test automation scripts.

• Use automation frameworks such as Selenium Playwright TestNG JUnit or equivalent tools.

• Write and maintain scripts for UI API database and performance testing.

• Execute automated test cases and analyze results.

• Track and report defects with clear documentation.

• Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce bugs.

• Contribute to test coverage and traceability reports.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps).

• Maintain automation jobs and support scheduled or on-demand test runs.

• Troubleshoot failures and maintain test environment stability.

• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.

• Refactor scripts for performance stability or compatibility improvements.

• Contribute to automation best practices and coding standards.
