Quality Engineering Lead - Telecom domain

Infosys is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Lead with key functional experience in telecom domain. As a QA Test Lead, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will be working directly with client and conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. As a software/web-application tester she/he will ensure that the products, applications and systems work correctly.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications
• At least 8 years of Information Technology experience with at least 4 years in Wireless Telecom domain, should have good experience in Wireless ordering and assurance area.
• Preferrable with MyBiz Verizon application experience and prior work experience in Verizon.
• Experienced in QA processes - Test strategy and test planning including Agile methodology practices, Testing life cycle and Defect life cycle.
• Good understanding of SWLC activities and maintains good rapport with the dev team to meet the project
validation milestone the triage calls successful
• Hands on experience in Integration, Sanity, System, Functional including Regression and End to End Testing.
• Strong Communication, Analytical & Team management skills.
• 2+ years of experience in BDD, Cucumber, TestNg is required, capable of scripting, fixing script issues and updating framework.
• Good understanding of Test Automation Frameworks.
• Good in understanding of the application functionality (SME) and a quick learner.
• Experienced and hands on in bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Experienced and hands on in Test management tools like Qtest , QC
• Always ready to take up the last min projects and puts her 100% effort to make it successful.
• Hands-on experience in an off/on shore environment.
• A good team player and can work independently.
• Provides the training to new hires.
• Supports late deployments and validations.
• Supports weekly production night validations.
• Supports extended hours of work based on project needs and work with offshore during the early morning and late evening.
• Can work in a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environments like UAT and Business teams.
• Experience in understanding the product, analyzing user stories, performing data analysis, developing test
scenarios.
• Very good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple Projects.
• Analytical and Communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
