Quality Executive

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and the collection of samples of incoming and FG raw materials and test and analyse as per sanitaryware, tiles and table ware.

• Ability to understand the sanitaryware specifications and prepare the RM as per specification requested by Manager

• Able to understand the ball and chain clay material properties and preparing the blend as per sanitary, tile needs

• He/she work of technicians in testing for shade control / adjustment and development of new sanitary wares.

• Timely Inspecting and testing materials, equipment processes and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

• MIS support and maintaining data of raw materials and finished products in google sheet

• Assist in maintaining of the lab equipment’s: Sedigraph, and X Ray Fluorescence instruments, furnace, Kilns, dryers and etc. and track the AMC as per schedule

• Maintains QC documentation for tests and provide feedback of the effectiveness of the system 

• Maintaining 5S in the lab area and reporting safety issues to the EHS manager.

• Ensures that all the Standard Operating Procedures are implemented and adhered by QC

• Assist in Customer Complaints and quality related issues

• Assist in Quality Improvement Activities and implementation of SPC

• Assist in maintaining Lab equipment as Imerys protocol and standards

• Monitor workmen productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching in shifts 

• Training new contractor workmen in all aspects of EHS, Production, and Quality.

• Assist in Operational Excellence I - Cube Activities

OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS

• Act as Document Controller for ISO 9001

• Internal 5S Team leader Auditor 

• Safety Champion - Assist the EHS engineer in Risk assessment, safety training and in safety related activities.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Diploma/B.E in Ceramic Engineering/B.Sc in Chemistry/Analytical chemistry Experienced with 2 to 4 Years of experience, worked as Lab Supervisor/Lab Chemist 

• Experience in Tiles/Sanitaryware industry is an added advantage

• Experience in ISO 9001:2008 is added advantage
