We are looking for you to join our team as a Quality Inspector 4 based out of Cape Canaveral, FL.
This position is onsite and works a 4/10 schedule, Monday - Thursday.
What you will get to do:

Perform QC Inspections.
* Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
* Use various measuring devices.
* Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
* Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
* May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
* Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
* Perform Receiving Inspections.
* Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.
* Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
* Visually inspect for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
* Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
* Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.
* Maintain records of results.
* Inspections may involve compound angles or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem-solving skills and will have a demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated technical issues. They will be able to articulate concepts and concerns to technical and non-technical professionals and will be proficient with MS office and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications for a Quality Inspector 4:

HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
* Level II or III NDT certification in radiographic inspection (RT), fluorescent penetrant (PT) magnetic particle (MT), or ultrasonic inspection (UT).
* Experience in inspecting products and structures.
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications for a Quality Inspector 4:

Experience using predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
* Experience using various measuring devices.
* Experience working from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
* Experience inspecting purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements and inspecting for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
* Experience using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
Salary Range: $60,800 - $101,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
