Thermofisher Scientific (Fishers Clinical Services)

Our Quality interns 12 month placement means that you are truly embedded into our Quality team.

The team consists of Operational Clinical and Commercially Marketed product Packaging and Distribution), Validation, Systems and Standards, Auditing and Qualified Person release.

The role will provide on the job training, demand training and a project.

All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned but in addition, support your ongoing university studies.

The project may include the following responsibilities:

  • Partner across different areas and departments to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices.
  • Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with attention to detail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate across Quality and Operations teams to perform key product related root cause investigations and identify/provide oversight of the execution of corrective actions.

Education

  • Undergraduate student completing a year in industry studying a Life Sciences / Quality Engineering degree with a return to study post the placement to complete the degree.

Start Date

Our 12-month Internship programme starts in July 2025.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
