Job Summary

Summary:

The " Quality Technician " will be in charge of performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts.

*Night Shift

10% shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Download and compile quality information from the quality management system for QA reports.
• Prepare graphs and charts of data; enter data into computer systems for research purposes.
• Adhere to SSYMA safety requirements (goggles, gloves, etc.).
• Evaluate quality data and prepare reports to validate compliance or identify deviations from standards.
• Conduct environmental area testing using aseptic techniques.
• Perform endotoxin testing to measure bacterial levels in products.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain and update the quality management system; ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
• Work within the ALIMS (Automated Laboratory Information Management System) for data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in quality assurance or laboratory environment preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)

$20.70 USD - $28.46 USD Hourly
