Location/Division Specific Information

This position is within the Agribusiness BU, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific GSD Division. It is located in Lissieu, France (Lyon).

Discover Impactful Work:

The R&D intern is involved in the development of new veterinary diagnostic qPCR.

A day in the Life:

  • Perform testing in compliance with good laboratory practices.
  • Actively participate in daily laboratory organization.
  • Analyze results and share conclusions with team, propose new ideas.

Education / Experience

Working toward a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or other related field of study.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • High command of English language
  • Abilities to follow and adapt a protocol.
  • A first experience in PCR, qPCR is appreciated.
  • Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical/problem solving and communication skills.
