Radiation Therapist Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncology Director, the Radiation Therapist performs a variety of technical procedures in order to apply ionizing radiation for tumor localization radiography and applies therapeutic doses of radiation for the treatment of disease or injury.The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.

Radiation Therapist Position Requirements

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) in Radiation Therapy(T) (or worked as a Radiation Therapist for a minimum of 25 years), licensed by the State of Maryland as a Radiation Therapist, and a current holder of a CPR card.
