Overview:
Â
As a Radiologic Technologist at Mercy South Imaging Center, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care by assisting radiologists and physicians with a wide range of interventional and diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will support specialized exams such as myelography, hysterosalpingography, and arthrography, as well as surgical imaging using C-arm technology in the operating room. You’ll be a key contributor in emergency and trauma settings, including NICU, ICU, and ER, where portable imaging is often required. In addition to performing procedures, you’ll administer contrast materials, obtain informed consent when necessary, and ensure each patient is positioned comfortably and safely. You’ll maintain sterile technique, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and collaborate closely with physicians and staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care throughout every step of the imaging process.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current ARRT certification or registry-eligible with temporary license
- CPR certification (current)
- 1+ years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Minor nursing skills and ability to assist with patient transfers and care
Licensure:
- State licensure as required (Radiologic Technologist License required in Arkansas)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interventional radiology or surgical imaging
- Familiarity with NICU/ICU/ER imaging protocols
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
