RCM & Patient Collections Manager – Call Center Operations
Dallas, TX (75287) → relocating to Richardson, TX (75081) later this year
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Exempt
Salary: Up to $80,000 base (DOE)
About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedHealthcare RCM & Patient Collections Managerto lead current call center operations while supporting the strategic expansion into full Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in patient-facing environments, has deep RCM knowledge, and is ready to help build and scale future operational processes.You’ll manage patient collections, service teams, and performance metrics today — and help define the framework for claims submission, AR, denials, and payment posting as we grow.
What You’ll Do:Current Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations of thepatient customer service and collections team
• Manage inbound/outbound patient inquiries, service escalations, and payment arrangements
• Ensure high levels ofpatient satisfaction, empathy, and service quality
• Track and improve KPIs includingCSAT, resolution time, call metrics, and collections performance
• Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing team of supervisors and agents
• Partner with QA, Training, and Workforce to improve operational effectiveness
Strategic RCM Expansion (Future Scope)
• Plan and build out teams and workflows for:Claims submission, AR follow-up, Denials management, Payment posting
• Assist leadership in defining SOPs and best practices forend-to-end RCM
• Collaborate withbilling vendors, clearinghouses, and payers
• Help developRCM dashboards and performance reporting tools
Required Qualifications:
• 5–8 yearsof experience inhealthcare call center operations, including patient-facing support or collections
• 5+ yearsof experience inRevenue Cycle Management, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of theRCM lifecycle: patient access, charge capture, claims, AR, denials, and collections
• Strong knowledge ofHIPAA, payer rules, and healthcare compliance standards
• Experience creating SOPs and coaching/training call center and billing/collections teams
• Proficient inExceland reporting tools to track KPIs and spot trends
• Experience withAdvanceMDor similar RCM platforms preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred
Nice to Have:
• Experience managingoffshore call center or billing teams
• Background inthird-party collections
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - not required
Location Note:Team is currently located inDallas (75287)and will transition toRichardson (75081)in the coming months. Candidates should be open to commuting to either location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
Experience:
• call center management: 6 years (Required)
• call center patient collections management: 5 years (Preferred)
• RCM leadership role: 2 years (Required)
• SOP creation, staff coaching, and performance management: 5 years (Required)
• managing patient collections or healthcare call centers: 3 years (Preferred)
