Summary

Looking for a way to help improve the largest maintenance availability in an Aircraft Carriers lifespan. Come and join the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) Knowledge Management Team. As a RCOH Knowledge Manager you will define, design and implement continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across organizations. Analyze improvement programs and potential results. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams. Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success. Installs process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards. The Knowledge Management position collects and shares lessons learned with assigned projects in the RCOH and the Carrier Maintenance Community. Maintains the SUPSHIPNN Knowledge Capture Data Base (KCDB). Facilitates and coaches improvement teams, Retrospect, After Action Reviews and Hot Washes. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success. The candidate will be very involved in the Aircraft Carrier Team One (CT1) Knowledge Sharing Networks (KSN). #LI-MJ1

What you will do

• Installs process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards.

What you must have

• Must have 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
• Must have previous experience as a program knowledge manager.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must have an active or current DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred: Bonus points for...

• Program Knowledge Management experience on project involved with Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) and/or Aircraft Carrier Team One (CT1) preferred.
• Six-sigma certification preferred.

Physical Requirements
Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
