Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician needed in San Diego
Location:Seattle based with 30-50 travel
Salary+ company car and all expenses paid
Contract to hire Must pass DMV, background and drug screen
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivatedService Technicianto join our team. This role involves daily on-site service at customer locations, with approximately 30-50% travel within the region. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment, including refrigeration and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration systems at customer sites.
· Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machines, ensuring compliance with factory specifications and accuracy standards.
· Diagnose, repair, certify, and recalibrate machines.
· Respond to service calls and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
· Support other service representatives and customers with technical expertise.
· Develop or modify machine-related computer programs and systems.
· Handle both mechanical and electrical tasks:
·Mechanical:Assembly/disassembly, leveling, diagnostics, repairs on automated equipment.
·Electrical:Control system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
·Refrigeration:Installing, troubleshooting and repairs.
· Collaborate with product development teams to establish testing processes for new products.
· Define system test and inspection requirements.
· Assist in the development and design of new/existing products.
· Conduct warranty troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
· 5+ years of relevant service experience, preferably with industrial equipment.
· Experience withRefrigeration Systems,Chillersis required.
·Cascade refrigerationexperience is a plus.
· Proficient in using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers).
· Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, brazing and software systems.
·Able to read and interpret industrial control panel schematics.
· Good driving record
· Strong computer and phone communication skills.
· Committed to safety standards at customer and manufacturing sites.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
