Job Description

Regional Manager The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of multifamily properties throughout the Illinois region. This includes managing staff, general operations, and capital improvement projects. The role focuses on ensuring property performance meets occupancy, collection, and financial goals. The Regional Manager will conduct site visits, audits, and staff training and implement company policies to support overall success. Key Responsibilities: • Support site staff to meet property goals • Work as a team with Asset Manager, Property Accountant, HR, and onsite teams • Prepare or review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for properties/owners • Provide additional reports for ownership as requested • Manage projects including renovations, capital projects, and routine maintenance • Oversee employment processes such as payroll paperwork, timesheets, and bonus plans • Prepare and manage contracts • Organize monthly documentation for credit card payments and reimbursement invoices • Assist with vendor setup and management • Conduct regular site visits to ensure policy and procedure compliance • Perform frequent audits to maintain operational standards • Assist onsite teams with policy interpretation, compliance, and implementation • Monitor and manage accounting, marketing, and operational systems • Support due diligence and budget preparation for new acquisitions • Complete additional duties as required by the company or department Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: • 5-10+ years of experience in multifamily regional management • Bachelor’s degree • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects • Yardi software experience preferred • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Strong problem-solving skills • LIHTC experience preferred • Self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving roles and responsibilities • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external parties Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Experience: • Property management: 10 years (Required) • Regional management: 3 years (Required) Location: • Chicago, IL 60618 (Preferred) Willingness to travel: • 75% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
