The Biosciences Division (BID) is a pivotal $50 million business in India. A majority of our business comes from academic and government-funded customers, with the remainder from the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and industrial markets. Our products fall under premier brands like Applied Biosystems™, Invitrogen™, Thermo Scientific™, and Gibco™.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales in the assigned region by effectively prioritizing available resources.
  • Connect with the top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) of the region and drive business growth through them.
  • Mentor and manage a team of 4-5 account managers.
  • Manage key distributors from the assigned region.
  • Develop, anticipate, and implement business plans.
  • Monitor the sales progress on a day-to-day basis.

Candidate Requirement:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience in sales of scientific solutions to markets such as Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, Life Science Research (Government & Academics), and Healthcare.
  • Proven people managerial experience is preferred.
  • Experience in government tenders (GEM) will be an advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Flexible to travel.
