Regional/Statewide Medical Director

POSITION: Regional Medical Director (M.D. or D.O.)
SCHEDULE: Full Time, Mon-Fri 8AM – 5PM
FACILITY: Oversees clinical operations in NHDOC facilities in Berlin and Concord, NH
LOCATION: Based out of Concord, NH regional office (onsite)
**Must be local to NH or driving distance

POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Medical Director leads and oversees Wexford Health’s medical practice on a state-wide basis in order to ensure and promote quality medical care. He/she is ultimately responsible for all health care provided by Wexford Health Sources and delivered to the New Hampshire facilities. Serves as the liaison between Wexford Health and the New Hampshire Department of Corrections medical authority and maintains good relationships with facility, regional and corporate staff.

• Receives clinical supervision by the Corporate Chief Medical Officer and administrative supervision by the Statewide Program Manager
• Provides Direct clinical supervision of site Staff Physicians and Nurse Practitioners
