Harborview Medical Center's Adult Medicine Clinichas an outstanding opportunity for aRegistered Nurse (RN).
WORK SCHEDULE:

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Adults 18 and older can find a great doctor at theAdult Medicine Clinicat Harborview. Conveniently located in the First Hill neighborhood, the clinic offers comprehensive wellness care and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
Internal medicine doctors, called internists, focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and illnesses in adults. These practitioners may also serve as primary care physicians.
Our clinic is supported by a team of professionals with expertise in mental health care, social work, chemical dependency, nutrition, clinical pharmacy, women's health issues and patient education. Our mental health care specialists provide psychiatric consultations, medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to prescribe, prioritize, delegate, coordinate, and provide safe, therapeutic allocation of nursing resources to patients/families
•
M ake independent judgments/decisions and takes action regard
•
Collaborate with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the medical and nursing plans of care
•
Perform specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
•
Patient placement and preceptor responsibility
•
Provide leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote: delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication and continued professional development for self and others
REQUIREMENTS:
•
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
•
At least 2 years of professional nursing experience
•
• Current BLS & ACLS

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:$91,152.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:$165,576.00 annual
Other Compensation:$10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Relocation Available
$1/hour BSN premium
