Registered Nurse – FULL TIME – TUES thru SAT – NO NIGHTS – NO HOLIDAYS – NO CALL - starting rate $37-40 per hour SPANISH-SPEAKER STRONGLY PREFERRED Gain valuable experience through meaningful interactions with patients in the inspiring field of abortion care. Full-Time Hours available Tues-Saturday at Philadelphia Women’s Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center located in Center City Philadelphia. PWC has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 45 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care. Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred): • Pre-procedure medical assessment • Recovery Room nursing • Participating in training of student nurses • Assisting in the education of practitioners in abortion care • Contributing to various research programs Our team welcomes empathetic, committed, experienced RNs with a strong work ethic, sense of humor and a desire to be a part of a team. The ideal candidate must possess: • Strong communication skills • Excellent patient care skills • Basic computer skills (EHR experience a plus!) • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted • Active Pennsylvania RN license • IV insertion experience preferred • Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required.
