The Company: Entrusted Pediatric Home Care specializes in infant and pediatric private duty nursing. The Position Summary: Entrusted is currently looking to add a team-oriented Nurse Manager to our Austin Branch. This position will work as a liaison between the doctors, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers. You will be responsible for performing and documenting assessments as well as interviewing, educating, and orienting new nurses to the company. You will supervise new and existing field staff through routine visits to patient’s homes and monitoring of documentation. The Nursing Manager is also responsible for day to day functioning of the branch and will provide direction and supervision to ensure the office is meeting regulatory requirements. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and organize your schedule based on the needs of the office and your caseload. The ideal candidate can work independently with little or no supervision and possesses strong leadership qualities. Salary: $70,000- $80,000 + Quarterly Bonus Incentives Duties and Responsibilities: • Staff development including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education. • Take appropriate action to assure the location/agency complies with applicable laws and regulations. • Oversee acceptable turnaround on patient plans of cares and authorizations. • Participate in QAPI activities. • Monitoring, reviewing, and adding new patient orders. • Supervising and providing direction to subordinates. • Post hospital assessments. • New and existing patient assessments. • Promoting the philosophy and administrative philosophies of our organization to ensure the best possible patient care. Qualifications: • Active Registered Nurse license and CPR certification • Two years of related health care experience, pediatric home health management experience preferred. • Shall be able to read, write, and comprehend English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required. • Pediatric experience preferred. • Be knowledgeable regarding Medicaid and insurance regulations. • Ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours if/when needed.
