Note: This position is not remote and would require you to work on site in Iraq. Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures - Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team - Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as needed - Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety Skills: - Proficiency in pain management techniques - Experience in health coaching for patients undergoing surgery - Skilled in IV infusion therapy and IV insertion procedures - Knowledge of discharge planning processes - Familiarity with trauma medicine practices - Ability to perform suturing as needed - Experience with assisted living facilities and patient care within that setting - Competence in using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems - Understanding of tube feeding protocols Requirements: RNs shall hold current and unrestricted licenses, in good standing, in any U.S. State, and without restrictions.
