Registered Nurse

Facial Plastic Surgery Registered Nurse We are a very busy, established Facial Plastic Surgeon's office offering a great opportunity for the right person. Our ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, independent (yet a team player), friendly, highly organized and business oriented with a professional appearance and positive attitude. Responsibilities are providing excellent patient care in a clinic as well as in our Quad A accredited surgery center that requires preop/circulating/postop nurse duties. Knowledge of EMR is required. Discretion and professionalism are musts given the nature of an elective aesthetic surgery practice. Specific Requirements: • At least two years of nursing experience required • Must be currently licensed and in good standing by the Texas Board of Nursing • ACLS Certification • Critical Care, Operating Room, or Preop/Postop experience preferred. • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, referring physician's offices, and the general public. • Must be knowledgeable of medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to private medical offices. • Must possess leadership skills and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel. • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the program goals, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care. • Strong phone skills required. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:00 noon. In office surgery center hours Monday-Thursday 6:30am-7:30pm.
