Registered Nurse (RN)

Small, Plastic Surgery practice located in Dallas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) coordinator to become an intricate part of our team! Previous experience in a Plastic Surgery environment is desired. This position's routine responsibilities are highly administrative, with some clinical duties as well. This is a salaried position with additional incentive bonuses. Responsibilities: • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, monitoring emails, facilitating communication between the patient and the Senior RN or the MD, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records • Assist with patient flow • Educate and prepare patients for surgery and obtain medical clearance prior to surgical procedures • Schedule and perform patient preoperative appointments and obtain surgical consents • Assist surgeon with in-office procedures and treatments • Document patient care and progress by charting in patient electronic record • Surgical follow-up appointments, including suture removals and drain removals Skills / Qualifications: • To be considered for this position, candidate must possess an RN License • Minimum 2 yrs. nursing experience is required • Knowledge of and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) • Strong organizational skills • Technology savvy • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Team player • Strong time management / task prioritization • Develop and streamline processes and protocols Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,720.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Nursing: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: • RN License (Required) Location: • Dallas, TX 75231 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Dallas, TX 75231 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Dallas, TX 75231: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
