A little more about our center: Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (formerly indigent) population. • 5 star Quality Measures – this means we provide excellent clinical care! • The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders. • Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community. • We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room. • We love new grads and work with students from multiple schools/universities in the area. • The Metra and the Green Line are just a few blocks away Job Description What you will do in this role: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be joining a team of nursing professionals dedicated to providing excellent clinical care. Some have been with us for a long time and can mentor others.
