Responsibilities:We are looking for a Nursing Manager to join the growing Med Surg team at our Downtown Fresno Campus, home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center. In your role, you will have the unique opportunity to direct, supervise and evaluate patient care performance in our Med Surg 7 West Oncology & Stepdown unit at Community Regional. With 20 licensed beds and 24 licensed Progressive Care beds, the patients in this unit range from moderate to low and intermediate acuity, including trauma, orthopedic, surgery, and more.
You will be a proactive leader with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills who pays meticulous attention to detail and thrives on collaborating with senior leaders, physicians, surgeons, and medical staff. Qualifications:Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability required
- 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
- Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
Licenses and Certifications Requirements:
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
