Release Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Help development teams with the execution of the release management processes needed to successful GA their product on prem and/or on SaaS
• Create and execute release management plans including schedules and deliverable requirements based on the software category (for example platform component or full product)
• Work closely with our IBM software development teams and/or IBM Business Partners to achieve successful completion of all of IBM’s Go-To-Market (GTM) deliverables
• Effectively identify and escalate release risks as they arise
• Ensure project completion on time and budget
• Cultivate teamwork and problem-solving while working under challenging delivery expectations and deadlines
• Contribute innovative suggestions for process improvement and automation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong collaboration skills as you work across the partner and IBM team
• Experience working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic development environment
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
